Bankruptcy Counseling and Education
After you file bankruptcy (Post-Debtor Education):
To complete the bankruptcy process, you are required to complete a post-debtor education course in accordance with the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005.
After you complete the post-debtor education course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. This certificate must be supplied to your attorney before your bankruptcy can be discharged.
